Hi, I’m Ranga - a multidisciplinary designer who cares about making useful things that look beautiful.
-
I’m a product designer with 3 years of experience across product and service, at companies medium and small.
I am actively looking for a new role.
-
I’m a system designer with a developing sense of standards. From experience to interface, we’ll learn, grow and build excellent products together.
-
I’m quite technical, being an information technology engineer myself. Collaboration never has been and shan’t be a challenge.
-
I can contribute to product growth from vision to discovery. As a designer, I will work closely alongside management to create the most value.

Actionable Insights, Product Management
Research data is compiled in a way that allows for quick analysis and creation of actionable insights, usually in the form of JIRA tickets. Data analysis can be performed on both qualitative and quantitative data.
User Research, UX Process
I employ both qualitative and quantitative research techniques in my design process. Some research methods I have used previously are Research-Through-Design, Card Sorting, Contextual Inquiry, AEIOU Mapping, and Crazy 8s, among others.
Design Systems, Visual Design
I’ve had the privilege and responsibility of contributing to multiple design systems. I am currently working on variable use in Design Systems, as well as Design Tokens. System Design is my preferred method of the Visual Interface Design process.
Usability Testing, Prototype Evaluations
Demonstrable proficiency in conducting usability assessments, using KPIs and usability metrics to evaluate feature experience success, conducting A/B tests, and analysing user feedback.

Qualitative
I find design to be more of a responsibility than a privilege. I believe design is an undertaking of one’s basic values and their desire to find solutions to life issues. I find intangible problems just as interesting as tangible ones, and I try to find outcomes to the real issues and theorise solutions for the wicked problems. Working with people allows me to grow, and the process of designing outcomes becomes fuller, wider, and richer in a team. I prefer thinking intangibly, working tangibly, at scale, considerate of scope, keeping cross-functional colleagues and my environment in mind. I prefer toeing the line between Macro and Micro UX. My main purpose as a designer is simple - making a difference.

About
About
I studied Information Technology Engineering, where I developed a liking for Human-Computer Interaction. During my undergraduate studies, I completed my certification in UI/UX Design. I got my start as a UI UX Designer, and eventually moved to Product Design after completing my MA in User Experience Design.
My growth lies in constantly pushing pitch-perfect product pixels and placing the environment at my design altar. Throughout my 3 years of professional experience, I’ve worked freelance, at start-ups, scale-ups, and established family businesses. I can confidently say this medley of work has honed a wide range of multi-disciplinary skills in exciting contexts.
I generate value by bringing my high energy, criticality, and adaptability to the table in our situational environment.
When I’m not designing, I’m working on my passions - reading, writing, lifting heavy weights, and playing football. Some of my favourite subjects are philosophy, maths and physics. And design.
One of my hobbies is designing automation - essentially making life easier for my team and myself.
